Eldorado Canyon
As much joy as this kitchen provided to its previous owners, it had to go. Julia acted as the designer and GC on this kitchen remodel. Weeks leading up to closing, Julia measured, designed and selected all necessary components for the project (windows, flooring, paint, stain, cabinets, countertop, backsplash tile, paint, lighting, appliances and bar stools), secured estimates, and finalized a team of reliable contractors to help with the remodel. Each contractor was schedule and allotted extra time to perform their craft. From start to finish, this job took 2 weeks, plus an addition 2 weeks to template and install the countertop. The kitchen was 100% functional during this wait, with the use of plastic covered plywood.
Julia’s favorite elements of this bright and open 2nd floor kitchen are the non-traditional sofa seating beneath the large windows creating a ‘treehouse’ ambiance, the spacious island with built in range, and of course the garage door ‘coffee station’ - client priorities!
