The expiration date on this 1990's bathroom had expired long ago. But, it came in handy, quite literally, for a family of five for many years. This particular home had a second bathroom with a stand up shower that would be remodeled to include a soaking tub so Julia decided to visually enlarge the confines of this space by removing the bathtub and building it out with a walk-in shower with full glass partition for ample light. The smallest details were considered when selecting the finishes, right down to the shower door ring opening. This option prevents elbows from banging on door knobs when standing at the sink. And, the tile...it's purposefully the star of the show. This and the custom walnut vanity drawer fronts. The lighting is pretty cool, too. Yes, the lighting too.
